Dear readers,
Tomorrow is Lunar New Year eve and here’s wishing everyone, Happy Lunar New Year in advance!
I’m not very much of a Lunar New Year guy and I guess most people my age aren’t that traditional as well. I’ll be treating this Lunar New Year holiday as a break from work and just relax, and try to start on my upcoming eBook.
Happy Lunar Year everyone!

Dear readers,
2007 has been rather fulfilling as I has learnt a lot of stuff over the year and also made several new acquaintances.Financial-wise, I managed to hit my target of saving $10,000 for the year (though a portion of it went to my studies.), started my investment portfolio of stocks and subsequently gold and silver. This year, I also gained a small but stable foothold in my webhosting business and managed to open a consistent stream of passive income with Google Adsense.
Knowledge-wise, I started my Bachelor of Commerce degree at Marketing Institute of Singapore (MIS) to learn more about marketing and management. I also learnt abit on internet marketing through trial and errors, and attending seminars.
I’ve widened my social circle with new acquaintances in the internet marketing seminars held by Internet Marketing Academy and social networking workshops organised by Talentpreneurhub, enriching myself with their experiences and knowledge.

Dear readers,
I have to admit that I never keep track of what are the days that holidays fall on. Because of that, I’m probably the worst annual leave planner in Singapore (or even the world). I practically take annual leaves at the last minute and don’t have any proper plans to spend the days when I’m on leave.
Last Sunday, The Sunday Times published an article entitled, Get 37 days off with 8 days of leave. The article writer, Jamie Ee shares some thoughts on how you (or rather, I) can better plan the annual leaves in 2008.

Dear readers,
For your listening pleasure, I’ve added the IMeem playlist plugin into my blog to stream selected jazz songs. I just thought that it would be good for you guys to listen to some songs while reading through my blog.
What do you guys think? Should the IMeem playlist stay or go?

Dear readers,
I just received an email from NLB, notifying me that they have deemed AskChrisHow.com to be an important part of Singapore’s documentary heritage and would like it to remain available to researchers and generations of Singaporeans in the future.
Here’s an excerpt of the email.

Dear readers,
While we continue our uncommon paths to our common goals towards financial freedom, it is important that we spend some time, to ease our minds a little from all the accumulated stress.

Dear readers,
Do you notice any changes on my blog?
Yup! I’ve added a scrolling marquee applet just below my navigation bar. This marquee will display some indices and ETF/stocks that I feel, would be relevant to gold. If you would like to see any of your favourite indices, ETF, or stocks displayed in the marquee, just leave a comment.
I have also decided to endorse the Make-A-Wish Foundation® (Singapore). If you like the content that I’ve posted, I would appreciate it if you would make a contribution to Make-A-Wish Foundation® (Singapore).
